Arizona Tourism: Summer in AZ

Arizona faced a tremendous challenge in attempting to get additional tourism dollars during summer months. So, I worked on a strategy targeting in-state and near state travellers, outlining all the “cool” things to do in Arizona.

 

To create visual punch, I engaged a Hollywood prop house to create eight-foot tall icons of summer, which were featured at key California locations and used in an integrated social media effort. In addition, I worked with a team to create a content-rich website about Arizona possibilities, using interactive Mondrian flip tiles to aid in time-on-site.

 

The result: increased year-over-year room stays and a 38% increase of time onsite.
